DISHES

Kristi's Dishes ...I have some DISHES in my sink! I always will!!

I am thankful that I have dirty dishes regardless of how many times I talk about it, grumble about it or refer to it. I am thankful that I have food to eat! I am thankful that I have a family to cook and bake for...I am thankful that I have friends that request recipes... which ultimately means more DIRTY DISHES. Thank you Jesus!

Over the years, I've had family and friends ask me about preparing meals, baking, cooking, menu planning, new recipes, and money saving ideas. I have prayed about it for about a year now... It is time for me to put feet to my prayers.

Please come along...let's be thankful for our DISHES together.

This recipe was given to me by my mother about 20 years ago. It is an oldie but a goodie. This is one of my most requested recipes. Thank you Momma...for sharing.

Karen's B-Que Meatloaf
Recipe from Kristi's Dishes

1.5 lbs. hamburger
1/2 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed) or 2/3 C quick oats
2/3 C b-que sauce/ we use Kraft Honey
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375.
Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Pat mixture into greased 8 x 8 glass dish.
Drizzle/ spread some b-que sauce over the top of meatloaf
Bake uncovered for approximately 1 hour.
The meat will pull away from sides of the dish. Drain juices.
** This recipe is very flexible. You can add more b-que sauce or use
less. You can add more crackers or not add as much.**

Freeze the leftovers in serving size baggies. When you want a quick meal. Take it straight from the freezer (leave it in the baggie) and put it in the microwave to warm it up. The meatloaf stays moist.

My mother no longer makes this meatloaf. What? She asks me to make it for her. I always tell her "Momma, this is YOUR recipe." She says "It justs tastes better when you make it, Kristi."

Hasn't it always been that way? Did y'all ever trade your Peanut Butter Jelly sandwich for your friends PB and J?

I need to unload the dishwasher....Kristi
